Inside my heart.

Last December, I did a little antique shopping in Angelica, NY, and made a few great finds. My favorite is a 1969 book for teachers with 12 full color transparencies with pictures of the human body. I’m excited about the potential of these vintage illustrations; I’ve made two books with them so far.

Coming to the Etsy shop next week is a fun little book that came together really quickly. It worked just right.

Called Inside My Heart, it has lots of pages with typewritten prompts for recording things you love, in between vintage flash cards and transparency diagrams of the human heart. It feels eclectic, yet balanced, with the neutral, academic feel mixed with illustrations of veins and arteries.
